Jesus’ Scars
After John 20:19-31

Set your eyes
on Jesus’ scars—
astounding like
peaks above clouds.

Examine, then,
your expectations—
all the outcomes
forecast as dread.

Be as Thomas—
question, wrestle,
allow some disbelief.

Place hands on wounds
and side and let faith
become sight.
